Knit a warm longline coat with a smooth stockinette body and substantial garter stitch details. Deep turned cuffs, a standing collar and two practical patch pockets give it a comfortable finish, while the button front makes it easy to layer.

The back, fronts and sleeves are worked flat from the bottom up and joined with seams. The front bands and collar are picked up after assembly. The instructions cover shaping, buttonholes, pocket placement, finishing and adjustments to body and sleeve length.
