Lilou Airy Cropped Mohair Cardigan

Knit a light, softly boxy cardigan with a cropped length, dropped shoulders and full balloon sleeves gathered into narrow ribbed cuffs. The open front is finished with a neat applied I-cord edge, creating a simple layer to wear over dresses and tops.

The airy fabric is plain stockinette worked with two strands of brushed lace weight mohair silk held together on large needles. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up, worked flat in five pieces and seamed. Straight needles or circular needles used back and forth are suitable.
