Knit a generously oversized pullover with a deep, softly folded cowl, large stockinette stitches and garter stitch sleeves. A rounded front hem sits higher than the curved back, while broad folded cuffs complete the relaxed silhouette.
The front and back are worked flat from the bottom up. Short rows shape the hems. After joining the shoulders and side seams, stitches are picked up for the cowl and sleeves, which are worked in the round.

Yarn and needles
Soft, lofty jumbo yarn, held single, with a rounded plied structure. A wool-rich blend is suitable. An example put-up is approximately 40 m / 44 yd per 100 g. Buy 13 (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) balls at that put-up for XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL). Quantities are planning estimates and include allowance for swatching, finishing and variation.
Starting needle size: 19 mm / US 35, adjusted to obtain gauge. Circular needles are used for the body, cowl and sleeves; the sleeves use magic loop or two circular needles. You will also need a spare needle for the three-needle shoulder bind-off, stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders, a tapestry needle and blocking supplies.
Blocked gauge
